If you have any claims you still need to submit to the Illinois Commercial Food Service Program for efficient equipment sales in 2023, please ensure you have them in by January 31, 2024.

Claims for 2023 invoices received after this date will not be approved.

Tips and tricks for determining qualifications of eligibility.

Verifying Customer Eligibility

• Before offering a discount to a customer, verify that the zip code for the installation address is eligible using our online eligibility tool: Check Customer Eligibility | Illinois Foodservice Rebates | USA (il-foodservicerebates.com)
• Gas equipment purchases require the zip code of the facility to match the zip codes within the gas utilities’ service territory (checked automatically in the portal):
  • Ameren Illinois
  • Nicor Gas
  • Peoples Gas
  • North Shore Gas
• Electric equipment purchases require the zip code of the facility to match the zip codes within the gas utilities’ service territory (checked automatically in the portal):
  • Ameren Illinois
  • ComEd
• If you are unsure about the eligibility, or if you or your customer thinks they should be eligible and the tool states otherwise, please contact our team by phone at 888-214-4014 or email at foodservice-il@frontierenergy.com.
• To ensure that your equipment complies with the most current QPL, please check the IL FS website for the most recent list of qualifying products.
• Customer must have a commercial utility account and have not opted out of energy efficiency programs.
• Verify that the installation address is a commercial address.
• Food trucks are not accepted.
