Gas measures are available
What territories have gas measures?
Natural gas equipment incentives remain available in the Peoples Gas, North Shore Gas, and Ameren Illinois territories.
Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas primarily serve the city of Chicago and Lake County, while Nicor Gas covers the rest of northern Illinois, and Ameren Illinois operates in southern Illinois.
Nicor Gas will resume providing commercial kitchen equipment gas incentives in 2025. However, select food service equipment rebates are still available through their own energy efficiency program.

Engage customers with energy-efficient refrigeration
Tips to help you sell energy-efficient refrigerators and freezers

- Electric energy-efficient models have advanced technologies that regulate temperature more precisely and consume less energy.
